Abandoned Bocock School Now Being Renovated

The Bocock Elementary School is on the 100 block of Bocock Road, at the outskirts of Campbell County and Lycnhburg City, Virginia.

The Bocock Elementary School began sometime before 1965 and lasted as a school through several decades. Sometime, during the later 1990’s the elementary school closed. Later it was re-opened as a small nursing home which closed in October of 2007. After this it was under the market as a ‘Hotel & Motel’ property site. Advertised as an investment type with a metal roof, paved parking, tile flooring inside with 8 single restrooms and 2 community restrooms. It was sold again for re-use during 2013.

Today, it is now being fully renovated by the ReSkill Group a non profit looking to help victims of Traumatic Brain Injury and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
